Delete your Ask Malo account

From the app

In the Ask Malo app (iOS or Android), open the Account screen, tap Delete my account and confirm. The deletion is immediate.

Without the app

Email hello@askmalo.fr from the email address of your account, with the subject "Account deletion". If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your address, include the name shown in the app. We process the request within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email.

Data deleted

• Your account: username, email address, password and Apple or Google sign-in identifiers.
• Your device: the notification token linked to your account.
• Your deals: they expire and are deleted automatically, at most 7 days after publication, together with their votes and reports.

All this data is deleted within 30 days of your request at the latest.

Data kept

• Conversations with Malo: they are not linked to your account and are deleted automatically after 90 days of inactivity.
• Usage statistics: only if you accepted them, in anonymous form, without email or name.
• Data on your phone (conversation history, favorites, preferences): it stays on your device and is erased when you uninstall the app.
